I’m seriously so upset the Russell Brand radio show is cancelled/suspended/whatever. It’s one of the things I look forward to most on Fridays.

Lighten up, Britain!

Word and word. I’m extremely confused and frustrated with the way the media and everyone have ganged up on Russell Brand and Jonathon Ross. I was never a big fan of Jonathan Ross, but I LOVE Russell Brand and liked the two of them together. While I do think they overstepped the line slightly (and come on, Andrew Sachs’ grand-daughter is clearly a slut who’s now going to sell her story to every newspaper and make money this way), the media created a situation where it was very hard for the BBC to make excuses for Russell (even though this is his style of comedy and no-one ever batted an eyelid), therefore he had to become a scapegoat.

Russell’s career is still going to go strength to strength but the loss of his radio show/podcast has already left a big gaping hole in my iPod and Saturday nights.

RIP Russell Brand’s Podcast.
